Homework
Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work habits.
Children should work on written homework for no more than 20 minutes each night. They should also read for 20 minutes each night.
Homework Packets are passed out on a Monday and are due back to school on the following Monday.
Spelling tests will be dictated each Monday, as well. Spelling lists are comprised of high frequency words and phonics word families, presented on alternate weeks.
If you feel that your child is spending too much or too little time on their assignments, please let me know so I can work with your child toward a solution.
