Homework
Students have a daily math homework page Monday - Thursday that is due each day.
Students will receive a spelling list every Monday (unless it's a 4 day week). Each list is differentiated for each student. The number of words they have that week will depend on how they did on the pre-test on Monday. Students need to study their words all week to prepare for their spelling test on Fridays. Students need to choose 10 spelling words and write 10 quality sentences using those words. Spelling sentences are due on Fridays.
Students are required to read at least 20 minutes a day 5 times a week, for a total of 100 minutes a week. They need to record the minutes that they read in their Reading Record Book. Reading Records need to be turned in every Wednesday. The GOAL is to read 1,000 minutes by November 13th.
