Homework

Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work habits. Assignments are written in the daily agenda every morning.  Please make sure the agendas are checked nightly and always signed at the bottom of the of page each day.

We work hard during the week and have homework every night.  Please make sure your child is reading nightly-at least 30 minutes a night.  We will have math homework every night which is related to content learned that day in class.

Our class does not usually have homework on weekends.  I believe it is important for  students to have time to spend with family and friends. However, occasionally assignments are necessary.
Developing strong work habits at home is so important for long term success.  Please continue to support your fourth grader as he/she navigates his/her way through this year.  I strongly believe that organization and effort will pay off in the long run.
Working together we can make it a great year!
